Bio

Maria B. Murad is an experienced writer and editor, whose expertise includes corporate materials, training, and business communications.

She has published a children's book, short stories, essays( print and online), and memoirs in several anthologies. She has finished her first novel, and is working on a second. She has collaborated with Jan McCarthy to produce a handbook for women new to management, which is currently in the hands of an agent.

She has taught at several post-secondary schools in the Twin Cities area, including Metropolitan State University, Rasmussen College and National American University, where she currently teaches classes in English, composition, fiction, speech and Technical Communication as the schedule requires.

She has a B.A. in English and an M. A. in English (Emphasis on Writing Program) from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
